Pontos’ portfolio company Hintsa Performance has raised 5.1 million euros to expand its well-being and performance solutions to a wider audience through the new Hintsa App. Financiers include business angels, such as Paul Polman, former CEO of Unilever.
The well-being coaching programs based on science have previously been used by top athletes and company executives, and will now first be available to all employees and then to consumers. Individualized coaching programs are based on optimizing health, well-being and performance.
Personnel well-being will play an increasingly important part in future working life. “We are happy that this financing round enables Hintsa to provide even more comprehensive services. With the help of technology, companies and organizations and eventually individual consumers can benefit from Hintsa’s first-rate coaching programs more easily. Coaching built on the science of behavioral change will reach new user groups through smartphones, and users will receive measurable data on their results. The development will largely lead to a better life, and thus working life,” says Tor-Oskar Karlberg, Investment Manager at Pontos and Member of the Board at Hintsa.
After completing Hintsa’s coaching, corporate clients have reported a significantly better ability to relax during breaks and reduced emotional stress, fatigue, social stress, and burnout risk. “We are extremely excited in welcoming new investors into the Hintsa mission, which aims for a better life and performance for everyone. We offer solutions for organizations that wish to place employee well-being a priority. With our investors, we will take the first steps in making our life-altering coaching available to individuals around the world,” states Annastiina Hintsa, CEO of Hintsa Performance.
